Chief Minister of Ayeyarwady Region Government, Tin Maung Win, said that Myanmar Traditional #water_festival will be held hustling and bustling in Ayeyarwady Region. 

The Regional Chief Minister stated it during the coordination meeting for successful holding of the 2023 Myanmar Traditional Water Festival also known as Thingyan Festival. The coordination meeting was held on 10 March.   

“We are making preparations along the river bank for the public to be able to participate in our traditional Water Festival, Thingyan. Priorities will be given to people’s safety and security during the water festival.” the Regional Chief Minister said.   

It is also reported that the dancing troupes, entertainment groups and music bands will be included. In addition, there will also be arrangements for reserving and storing water for the festival.
