Sources from security officials said that #guns and #weapons including AK 47 were confiscated from a passenger vehicle in Hpa-an, Kayin State on March 12.  

Authorities received terrorist leads and inspected the passenger vehicles at the bus terminal, the reliable source confirmed NP News. 

Weapons including three AK 47s; one M 22 gun; one China-made rifle; four M 16 guns; and one US made AR 15 were seized from passengers’ bags and items, according to the source. 

Cartridges; bullets; 40 MM grenades; other bombs; and spyglasses were also seized. 

Authorities are investigating the case to arrest the related criminals.
