The nationwide education conference is expected to be held in the upcoming first week of May in Naypyidaw. It is the very first-time nationwide conference for education in the State Administration Council term.

The preliminary coordination meeting on the education conference was held on April 25 in Naypyidaw and the Vice-Chair of the SAC, Vice Senior General Soe Win attended.

The nationwide education conference (2023) is expected to be held at the state level, Vice Senior General Soe Win said. The purpose of the conference is ‘for the betterment of future education of Myanmar’.

Titles will be involved ‘finding way to remedy for reducing drop-out rate’, ‘to prioritize the KG+9 education system as a national issue’ in the conference.

In addition, foundation for vocational training courses like agriculture, livestock and industrial science will also be discussed for Grade 10, Grade 11, and Grade 12 classes so as to produce effective human resources.

Vice Senior General Soe Win expected that good solutions, good information and good results will emerge from the nationwide education conference for the country's next generation.
