The State Administration Council announced on March 22 that a #terrorist group which has been conducting terrorist acts in #Monywa, Sagaing Region under the name of Anonymous has been seized by authorities. 

The terrorist group was arrested on March 15 morning in Aye Tharyar Ward, near Chindwin River, in Monywa, according to the SAC statement. 

The arrested terrorists were: Ye Yint Kyaw (33 yrs) the leader; Kyaw San Oo (20), Ko Ko Aung (19), Wai Yan Htet (18), Soe Soe (37), Nay Lin Aung (17), Kaung Khant Zaw (18), Kyaw Ye Thu (17), Aung Zaw Htet (23), and Yar Pyae (18); and their accomplices: Kyi Min (48), Khin Hnin Soe (45), Ko Myint (55) and Soe Soe (45), as per the information released by the SAC. 

Weapons were also seized together with the terrorists in the arrest including five handmade rockets, 19 grenades, 176 bullets of different types, and explosive devices.

In addition, the Tatmadaw counter-terrorism forces rescued the abductees kidnapped by the terrorists. Two men, one woman and one child, altogether four were saved and rescued by the Tatmadaw in the operation.

As per information, one of the abductees was kidnapped by the terrorists since he denied to pay extortion money demanded by the terrorists. 

As per confession made by the terrorists, they committed four explosions and three murders in the surrounding region.
