As long as there is no peace and stability, the socio-economic development of the ethnic people will be too far to attain, the Chairman of the State Administration Council (SAC), as well as the Commander-in-Chief of Defense Services Senior General Min Aung Hlaing said. 

He addressed it in his message to the 49th Rakhine State Day that was fallen on December 15.

 “The socio-economic development will be too far to attain if there is no such stability and peace. Also, there will be less chances to get individual rights and opportunities,” he remarked. 

The Army Chief aslo added that both the government and the Tatmadaw affirm to protect ‘The Three Visions of the State’ which are not to disintegrate the Union; not to disintegrate the unity of the Union ethnics; and to strengthen the national sovereignty under any condition. 

In addition, Rakhine State's development has been greatly improved. However, due to the ethnic armed groups and foreign interference, stability and peace have been destroyed, and the local ethnics are suffered from the meaningless fights and conflicts.  

Therefore, the SAC said that it is following the path of NCA for the peace of the Union in the process of moving towards a peaceful and modern developed democratic country that the whole people desire.

“Only the NCA path can build the peaceful Union that we all hope for,” SAC’s chairman said. 

Moreover, he affirmed that peace can be formulated only through political dialogue that is truly rooted in the union spirit among all ethnics, without external interventions.
