The spokesperson of the State Administration Council (SAC) Major General Zaw Min Tun said that there are such entities that doesn’t want to observe Myanmar in peace with no armed conflicts across the country and in stability. 

He addressed it in his media briefing made on December 12. 

Myanmar Tatmadaw reportedly engaged a peace talk with three northern ethnic insurgents mediated by China in previous days. 

Regarding to the meeting, the West bloc-oriented news outlets are delivering disinformation to interrupt the meeting, the SAC spokesperson said. 

“Here, I want to say, the news outlets that support the west bloc and the pillars of the terrorist NUG are intentionally publishing disinformation to disturb the meeting since they don’t want peace and stability of Myanmar-China border areas and the country’s development. It is obvious that they don’t want to see Myanmar and China are living with peace and have a good friendship,” Major General Zaw Min Tun said. 

Those ill-will news outlets do not want to see peace restoration in Myanmar. 

The spokesperson continued that “Because they got more money as long as Myanmar isn’t stable and gain peace. Their stance is to make utter devastation in Myanmar; to create a government that they can control. Therefore, they don’t want ceasefire in Myanmar.” 

At present, armed clashes have been occurring in Shan, Kayin, Chin, and Kayah states and Sagaing, Bago regions and other territories in Myanmar between Tatmadaw and terrorists’ armed groups. 

The chairman of the KNU Kawkareik District Padoh Saw Shew Maung remarked that only those who earn profits from the clashes create the war.
