Terrorist threats high school teachers in Mandalay

The Police Force announced that high school teachers in Sintgaing Township, Mandalay Region, were targeted with seven threatening letters by terrorist groups.
On December 22nd, one of the extortion letters was discovered on the signboard of the high school in Baelin Village, Sintgaing Township.
The police force stated that the remaining six copies of the aforementioned blackmail letters were scattered near the school's entrance.
The blackmail letters, titled "Mandalay People Rescue MDY CDF," threaten all teachers to join the Civil Disobedience Movement (CDM). The letters warn that this is their final notice to cease teaching at public schools. Failure to comply will result in dire consequences. The signature below the blackmail letter includes the names "Public Relations Officer Cham Min" and "Representative Htet Aung."
It is reported that a total of 38 teachers are teaching 722 students at Baelin Basic Education High School.
Hence, in order to address these blackmail threats from terrorists, security forces are reportedly conducting essential investigations.
