The spokesperson of the State Administration Council (SAC), Major General Zaw Min Tun remarked that Rakhine terrorists AA forcibly taking nine departmental vehicles which are being used for regional benefits by using arms is directly insulting the Rakhine people. 

In last week of November, the Rakhine terrorists AA forcibly took nine departmental vehicles from Mrauk-U showing threats with guns. 

In detailed, the AA terrorists took two departmental vehicles from a district development supervisory office from Htamaraz Ward from Mrauk-U Township in Rakhine State on 26 November at an estimated 5:40 pm by force. 

Again, on 28 November, the AA terrorists took another three departmental vehicles from World Heritage Management Office branch under the Department of Archaeology in Mrauk-U by force at an estimated 1:30 pm. 

On 29 November at an estimated 12:45 pm, they forcibly took again two more vehicles from rural development department located on the bank of Mrauk-U-Sittwe highway. 

Moreover, a vehicle from the Ministry of Religion at the district level in Mrauk-U township were also robbed on November 30 at an estimated 8:45 am but also a car from the office of election commission at district level on the same day at an estimated 9:30 am in the same township by threats, according to the Information Team of the SAC. 

“They took nine vehicles by showing gun forcibly from the Department of Archaeology is making efforts intangible and tangible assets to be listed in the World Heritages. This kind of acts is an insult to the public,” the Major General Zaw Min Tun said. 

It is reported that the security forces are continuing to suppress the terrorism for ensuring peace and stability in the region and to get back the grabbed vehicles. 

On the other side, ULA/AA terrorists have been attacking military camps and security posts in Rakhine State since 13 November.
