It is reported that PDF terrorists and allied insurgent groups attacked the small security outposts with massive troops in Kyarinseikgyi township, Kayin State. Then, the terrorists torched and destroyed fire serives department and other departmental offices.

The attack happened on early morning of 2nd November. According to a civil servant, the PDF terrorist and its allied insurgents raided police outpost, office of General Administration Department and Fire Services Department located in Kyarinseikgyi, Kayin State. 

The source said, “The attack has been started since last night (Nov 1 evening) by shelling heavy weapons. At around 4:30 am, they dropped drone bomb. Then, the fire exchange occurred approximately at 5:25 am. The arial bombardment was conducted at an estimated 10:30 am.”

The terrorists seemed mainly targeting the police outpost and township administration office, the source continued.   

At least 20 civilians were wounded in the clashes.  

There were incidents in recent months that the PDF terrorists attacked and set ablaze governmental departmental offices including general administration office, immigration office, municipal office and fire station.
