PDF terrorists robbed food supplies and motorbikes from monastery in Kantbalu

PDF terrorists robbed food supplies including rice, cooking oil and motorbikes from Kuutaung monastery located in Kantbalu township, according to the residents.
About 20 member of PDF terrorists arrived to the Kuutaung monastery on October 22 at an estimated 9 am in Chatthin village located in Kantbalu township, Sagaing region.
After they arrived, those terrorists robbed food supplies stored at the monastery’s garbage.
“30 motorbikes were robbed by force. Rice and cooking oil such kind of food supplies were also taken. There were about 15 or 20 bushels of rice. They all took thise things forcibily,” the Chatthin villager told NSS.
In addition, those PDF terrorists notified the warning that all residents in the Chatthin village must move within 3 days by threatening, as per the reports by residents.
“The people in this village must move out within 3 days. If not, they said we don’t know what will happen. They gathered all of us and said like this. No one was arrested,” one of the Chatthin village said.
Residents also report that the food from Chatthin village, Kuutaung monastery was forcibly taken away by PDF terrorist leader Ko Myint from Kangyi village along with his members.
Although there is a security outpost in Chatthin village, the residents have criticized that the security forces are not able to protect the lives of the villagers.
Similarly, on August 28, there was an incident where PDF members forcibly took rice and food supplies from the Maha Myaing Tawya monastery near Thitsar Phataung Village, Kalewa Township, Sagaing region.
