The Vice-Chairman of the State Administration Council Vice Senior General Soe Win urged to tighten security over the turnover of the guests who will be paying respect to the Venerable Buddhist Monks at the Grand Ceremony of Waso Robe Offering that will be held in Naypyidaw. 

He addressed it during the coordination meeting on the event that was conducted on 5th July at the hall of the Ministry of Religion and Culture in Naypyidaw.

Venerable Buddhist Sanghas from the State Saṅgha Mahā Nāyaka Committee, renowned Buddhist Sanghas from the State Central Sangha Patron Organization, member Sanghas of Board of Trustee of the Uppātasanti Pagoda and venerable elders Buddhist Sanghas will be invited to pay obeisance at the offering ceremony.

The invited venerable Buddhist monks will be transported from Yangon to Naypyidaw via air route, Vice Senior General Soe Win said continuing that security for Sanghas shall be prioritized. 

The State Administration Council has organized an initiating and working committee to hold the Washo Robe Offering Ceremony on 21st June, 2023 by Order No. 110/2023.
