At least 15 victims of both male and female innocent villagers who were displaced from armed conflict in Ayadaw Town, Sagaing were brutally murdered by the PDF terrorists, according to local residents.

According to information, at least 15 villagers were taking shelter at a monastery after fleeing war. There involved underage children in it. Meanwhile, a group of PDF terrorists arrived there and accused the villagers of alliances with the military.

According to the families of the victims, the PDF terrorists reportedly divided the villager groups into two by gender. The villagers were tied hands on their backs.

The saddest information is that the terrorists shot in the head to the boys while girls were killed after rape.

The incident happened on 5th July at an estimated 4 am in Ngwedwin village, Ayadaw Town.

In fact, there is a paramilitary troop in Ngwedwin village. The PDF came to attack the police outpost located in the village.

“There are paramilitary troops in Ngwedwin village. The troop was also reinforced with police. The PDF came to attack the paramilitary troops. Fire exchange occurred in the incident. Then, when the PDF withdrew, they killed four villagers on their way to retreat. Then, those 15 villagers who run because of the crossfire and were hiding in the monastery were brutally killed by the PDF terrorists as accused as the alliance of the Miltary,” a villager of Ngwedwin village told NP News.

However, the State Administration Council released the news that at least 15 including villagers, minors and monks were killed in the crossfire launched by the PDF terrorists.
