SAC repatriated over 12,000 Chinese illegal immigrants back to China

According to statistics from the State Administration Council (SAC), more than 12,000 Chinese citizens who are illegally residing in Myanmar were arrested and repatriated to Chinese authorities as of mid-December.
As per reports, the State Administration Council (SAC) has been repatriating Chinese citizens who were illegally residing in Myanmar through border gates to their home country commencing on October 31st.
During the repatriation process, a total of 268 Chinese citizens, comprising 229 males and 39 females, were arrested between December 16 and 23. They were subsequently repatriated to Chinese authorities, as reported by the SAC.
Hence, after conducting the required scrutiny processes in accordance with the laws, a total of 12,316 Chinese citizens, including 10,914 males and 1,402 females, were captured and repatriated to the relevant Chinese authorities.
The SAC is currently carrying out ongoing inspections on illegal foreign residents in Myanmar and facilitating repatriation procedures to return them to their respective government authorities.
Additionally, reports indicate that the SAC has established a committee aimed at swiftly initiating the prosecution process against illegal undocumented migrants, as per SAC statements.
