Armed clashes in northern Shan State tensed

The State Administration Council (SAC) released a statement that ongoing armed conflicts in northern Shan State continue increasingly tensed since the KIA, MNDAA and TNLA joint forces are attacking the security outposts with massive troops.
The SAC statement was announced on 30th October.
Since 27th October, the allied forces of three insurgent groups including KIA, MNDAA and TNLA have been attacking the security outposts and small military bases located in Lashio, Theinni, Kutkaing, Muse, Kugoke, Mong Koe, Phaung Sai area, Kunlong, Chinshwehaw and Laukkai in the borderline region, the SAC confirmed.
In addition, terrorist acts purposing extrajudicial killing on civilians, damaging border trade and blocking transportation channels etc. by those insurgents has increased tension in the battel, according to the SAC’s statement.
Three northern alliance insurgents including MNDAA, TNLA, and AA commenced Operation 1027 in the early morning of October 27 and attacked the security outposts around the townships of Chinshwehaw, Laukkai, Kunlong, Kutkaing, Theinni and Lashio in Shan State.
In addition, the PDF terrorists are taking part in the attack together with three alliances.
On October 30, an important bridge that is connecting between Theinni and Nammatu townships was also damaged by armed groups.
As a result of battles, the local people are displacing, and suffering from food shortages and high prices of commodity.
