The Union Minister for the Ministry of Immigration and Population Myint Kyaing said that the #population of total #eligible_voters will be informed to the Union Election Commission in March.

Project of collecting ground population data throughout the country has been conducted from January 9 to 31.

The ground population data was entered in e-ID software. A total of more than 11.7 million households were inspected out of 13.5 million households, the minister said.

Those households with irregular situations such as having the household registration forms with wrong information were surveyed. There are 2.8 million households with irregular situations.

The minister said 86.7 percent were surveyed and inspected in the on-ground population census.

Based on the on-ground population census, eligible voter information is expected to be turned out in March 2023, he continued.
