Armed clash intense between Tatmadaw, SSPP in Laihka, Shan State

It is reported that Shan State Progressive Party/ Shan State Army and Tatmadaw exchanged fire in Laihka township located in Southern Shan State.
The crash happened on 6th August at an estimated 6 am, according to the statement released by the SSPP.
As per the one-sided statement released by the SSPP, approximately 70 forces of the Myanmar military raided the SSPP/SSA military base.
Again, the SSPP/SSA attacked the No. 573 Light Infantry Unit of Tatmadaw located in Mat Lan village, Man Say village tract at 7 am.
However, the State Administration Council hasn’t released any information on the issue yet. In the first week of June, the Myanmar military demanded to withdraw ten military bases of the SSPP/SSA in Laihka. However, the SSPP did not follow the request.
The Shan State Progressive Party/ Shan State Army joins the peace talk invited by Senior General Min Aung Hlaing. On the 20th and 21st of July, three EAOs including SSPP/SSA, UWSA, and NDAA met and discussed peace with the NSPNC led by Lt. Gen. Yar Pyae.
