The State Administration Council (SAC) stated that more than 800 civilians including Buddhist Sangha and nuns have been killed by terrorists within previous six months since 1st February 2023. 

Senior General Min Aung Hlaing addressed it during his explanation at the National Defence and Security Council meeting on 31st July held in Naypyidaw. 

At the time being, the CRPH-NUG and PDF terrorist entities are committing terrorist activities targeting the civilians. Therefore, the Army Chief said that necessary operations are conducted to restore the rule of law and regional tranquility in accordance with law. 

A total of 772 innocent civilians, four Buddhist monks and nuns, and 28 civil staff were killed under extrajudicial killings by the PDF terrorists since 1st February 2023 to 30th July.

In addition, one building of health department; 11 religious buildings; 76 residential houses; 94 transportation infrastructures including roads, bridges and toll gates; and 26 electricity and power towers were damaged by the terrorists’ terror acts, the SAC Chairman said. 

What is more, thanks to the secret cooperation by the public, a total of 18792 varieties of weapons; 1423224 varieties of bullets; and 45865 ammunitions were seized within six months.
