The Kyon Aeit Bridge located in Thaton Township, Mon State, that was recently blown up by the joint forces of PDF terrorists and KNLA troops, has been attacked again by drone bombs by the joint forces of PDF terrorists and KNLA troops. A mother and a child were wounded in the incident, according to the recent reports. 

In fact, the terrorists sabotage the bridge when it was being repaired and fixed by the maintenance workers after second attack by the terrorists. 

This time attack is the third time committed by the terrorists. This time attack involved at least ten drone bombs, as per information. 

The incident took place on July 9 at an estimated 10:20 am. 

The Kyon Aeit Bridge is located between Thaton and Bilin townships. 

“They dropped five bombs with drones on the bridge. Crossfire occurred since security forces fought back. Then, another four bombs were dropped again by them,” an official from the Mon State Government confirmed the NP News. 

Although the construction workers who were repairing the bridge weren’t wounded in the attack, two innocent civilians, the mother and the child, who were passing by the surrounding area were injured in the attack, according to the abovementioned source. 

“This was the terror plot committed by the KNU and the PDF terrorists. It is just the political attack. However, the civilians became the victims. Due to the attack, all transportations have been blocked. It makes slow commodity flow. Those attacks only impact the civilians. This kind of thing should not be done,” the official remarked. 

The bridge was sabotaged on 29th June as the first time by the KNLA and PDF terrorists and the team who inspected the crime scene was attacked by the drone bombs and electrically fused rockets. 

Again, the second attack against the bridge was made on 7th July during the fixing period to the bridge. 

Therefore, the KNLA and PDF allied terrorists committed three times bombing the Kyon Aeit Bridge as of now. At least three civilians were killed in the attacks whereas at least 30 people were wounded in three-time attacks.  

Therefore, difficulties have been arisen in the transportation matters for the residents and travelers as Kyon Aeit is the main bridge located on the Yangon-Mawlamyein expressway. 

As per report, it has been ten days the bridge has been blown up; yet reconstruction isn’t accomplished.
