The Chairperson of the Arakan Liberation Party (ALP) Saw Mra Raza Linn said that the Nationwide Ceasefire Agreement cannot be nullified and it is a legal binding since it was approved by the Hluttaw. 

She told that during the press conference held after the peace talk between NSPNC and five NCA-S EAOs.

Saw Mra Raza Linn is a spokesperson of five NCA-S EAOs. She said that the NCA is a meaningful contract for all public and ethnics. It was signed by the Government and the Ethnic Armed Organizations before the international witnesses. 

National level political talks were conducted based on the terms and provisions of the NCA in previous government terms. It isn’t annulled since it was approved by the Hluttaw.

She continued that majority of the EAOs that signed the NCA will be implementing the NCA for sure and will continue discussing peace until the Union based on democratic and federal values is formulated.

Government, Hluttaw, Tatmadaw and eight EAOs signed the NCA before the local and international witnesses in Thein Sein Administration on 15th October 2015. Again, on 13th February 2018, two more EAOs took part in signing the NCA. 

At present, there are ten NCA signatory EAOs. They are KNU, CNF, ABSDF, ALP, LDU, PNLO, NMSP, KNU/KNLA-PC/ DKBA and RCSS.

After 2021 political transition in Myanmar, it is found that seven NCA-S EAOs still obey the NCA values but KNU, CNF and ABSDF are deviating from the NCA path.
