The State Administration Council (SAC) updated objectives and directions for the forward plans with new words and phrases; but essence dosen't change.

In the newly established 5-point objectives of the SAC, the first point will be emphasized to achieve rule of law throughout the Union so as to hold successufully a free and fair multi-party democratic general election.

In addition, it is also stated that efforts will continue to be made to promote the productivities based on agriculture and raise the national economy and the socio-economic life of the entire public. In order to ensure the stability of internal peace, it will be trying for peace according to the agreements signed in the NCA.

Additionally, strengthening of the democratic system and the process of building the union based on democracy and federalism will also be continued.

The last point of the objectives updated by the SAC is to conduct the general election involved by the whole public who have the right to vote and in accordance with the provisions of the emergency period; the free and fair multi-party democratic general election will be held and the upcoming elected government will be handed over the national responsibilities.
