The Minister of the Ministry of Information informed that the academy awarding ceremony will be held with regardless of the difficulties. 

The Union Minister for the Ministry of Information, Maung Maung Ohnn added the speech during the meeting held at the Promotion Flim Production under the Information and People Relation Department in Yangon. 

It is reported that the awarding ceremony will be held in Naypyidaw this year (2023), and the film excellence awards will be presented for three years.

The Ministry released the information in recent days that the golden academy awards and the costs will be sponsored by the government. 

The Fashion Award will also be offered including Myanmar Film Excellence Awards in the ceremony. 

He also added that the destructive forces and terrorists have been making efforts to disturb the Academy Awarding Ceremony. 

However, the Motion Picture Academy Award Ceremony will be held no matter what threats are happening, the Minister Maung Maung Ohnn added. 

In addition, the event is expected to be held this year different from previous years in the aspects of advanced technology and lighting effects.
