Senior General Min Aung Hlaing, the Chairman of the State Administration Council, said that Project of Kaladan Delta Development and Paletwa Port City Project are being implemented in Chin State for the purpose to host oversea vessels.

He underlined it in his letter of honouring the 75th Anniversary of Chin State Day that fell on February 20.

The Commander-in-Chief added that electrification processes for Chin State are being conducted to deliver electricity for Chin State from the National Grid system. Also, transportation channels will be improved for Chin State to make better networks either intra-State or with the mainland parts.

Myanmar and India are cooperating to develop the Kaladan Delta Development Project which is expected to uplift the bilateral trade. It was signed the MOU between Myanmar and Indian governments in 2008.

As a matter of fact, currently implementing the New Project at Sittwe Port is one of the development projects that involved in the Kaladan Delta Development Project.
