Statistic research on 8 exiled media circulating toxic news

The NSS has researched monthly statistics of misinformation of the exiled news organizations.
In this research, there are two classifications – Group A: involving VOA, RFA, and BBC. The media established under direct command and funds of the United States and British, and Group–B: involving The Irrawaddy, Mizzima, DVB, Myanmar Now, and Khit Thit, the media without stating their funds or currency flows or background can be regarded as illegal media.
There also are other inferior so-called news organizations using sub-standard journalism in this list. The Statesman Myanmar's survey thoroughly studied every news and story that were reported daily from 21 March to 20 April 2024, as well as taking into account comments and reactions engaged by the individual Facebook users under each news and story.
On what stance the BBC is standing?
The BBC hires Myanmar journalists to fabricate news about drawbacks, dark sides and problems of Myanmar by providing high pay. Those high incentive salaries are much attractive for the Myanmar national journalists rather than the interest of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar where they were born and grown up.
It can be determined that morals of the Myanmar journalists have worsen in overnight since they only hunt for dollars without ethics by neglecting the interests of the motherland. The Statesman Myanmar hereby points out that fact based on 263 news stories published by those exiled news organizations within 30 days.
In fact, eight percent of those 263 news articles published without credibility and accuracy. A good example for the aforesaid issue is the news about Vice-Senior General Soe Win. They fabricated false report of Vice-Senior General Soe Win demise without sound news sources. Worst of all, they did not correct or declare corrigendum to the public though they should responsibility for the false reports.
The BBC shared 25 percent of toxic news among those 263 stores to flame worsening conflicts in Myanmar.
A total of 16 percent written by the BBC proved that the BBC correspondents support NUG/ PDF terrorists.
In addition, the malicious BBC is covering up the terroristic acts by the NUG/PDF circulating fake news which blame Myanmar Tatmadaw directly or indirectly. Those kinds of news that the BBC spreads amounted 20 percent within 30 days.
Are VOA and RFA malicious media?
Within 21 March and 20 April, the VOA publishes 12 percent with deliberately reports without credible sources among 301 stories.
Not only they wrote those kinds of inaccurate information but they also made efforts to increase tensions and conflicts in Myanmar amounted to 50 percent. Likewise, the RFA wrote backing NUG/PDF terrorists amounted to 16 percent; what is more, 60 percent of the RFA news inciting conflict to increase further killings in Myanmar between citizens.
Is it true the Irrawaddy and Khit Thit are more despicable?
U Aung Zaw, the Chief Editor of the Irrawaddy, who was just an inferior person before and became an activist-turn-journalist like sub-standard Bertil Lintner (a so-called expert in Myanmar affairs, a Swedish, manipulating the Myanmar politics and armed issues by writing articles and reports).
The Irrawaddy circulated 620 news within 30 days; of which, 36 percent were inaccurate information.
In addition, 18 percent of 1,229 reports published by Khit Thit media also cover up supporting the NUG/PDF’s violence. additionally, Khit Thit also reported 38 percent of news without accurate information among those 1,229 reports; and deceived the public to commit conflicts and violence amouted to 41 percent.
DVB, Mizzima and Myanmar Now?
DVB reported 828 articles in 30 days; amongst, 11 percent were intentionally slanderous. The DVB journalists reported up to 58 percent of articles inciting conflicts flaming hatred, and up to 14 percent of news backing the NUG-PDF.
Mizzima news agency also wrote up 26 percent of the types of news that supported the NUG-PDF, and 27 percent of 549 articles in 30 days was without credibility.
The Myanmar Now news agency, which was formed for racial purposes, reported only 185 articles within 30 days. A total of 20 percent of them promote conflicts whereas 60 percent supported the NUG-PDF.
